I bought this product the other day and I must say its the worst hair removal product I have ever tried! In all it must of removed about 20 hairs, I will now have to go out and buy some waxing strips, I needed to do it for my holiday but with not having much time to get to town I will have to SHAVE them!!!Paula
I tried this and was already slightly sceptical but thought why not give it a go as it was on offer in boots. Well i'll tell you why not - it's a lot of hassle and it doesn't even work in the slightest! It says it can work on hair with one week's growth well my hair grows damn quickly and i used it after not shaving for 10 days and it removed approx 5 hairs from my entire leg!!! Despite not pulling out any hair, it was actually a bit painful to remove the strips. i'm chucking the remainder of mine in the bin, save yourself time, money and hassle and don't bother with this product. I'm only giving it one star as it's impossible to give it lessJasmine
OMG! I have been shaving my legs for a LONG time and I decided to try waxing for the first time. I picked this up, because it seemed like the easiest to apply (which it is) but when i tried it, OMG it didn't do a dang thing. it took NOT EVEN ONE HAIR!! i was sooo dissapointed! If you have stubbly legs (like most, which come from shaving), then the wax will NOT take it off. The only time it will work is when you have long, soft hair that does not stick out harshly. I had some there on my upper leg and it removed it rather nicely. But otherwise there isn't much point unless you've never shaved our legs in your entire life (i.e. you have soft hair). i don't think it's even worth one star, but it does smell good.
Waxing products are generally designed to work on longish hair. For waxing on short hair try the Veet Wax strips, they are designed to work on hair as short as 2mm. Waxing requires a certain level of patience, as you HAVE to wait until you have substantial regrowth befMarissa

I just bought this product as i thought with no heating it would be much easier and less messy to use. I've used several wax products in the past and this is by far the worst. I let my hair grow to the recommended 1 cm and it removed about 5 hairs per strip. I think the problem is the fact that it doesn't use heat, therefore the wax doesn't go hard and if a hair is going to be pulled away from something it will be the soft wax rather than its roots. At nearly £8 a pack i won't be throwing mine in the bin but i'll definitely be getting a refund under product not fit for purpose. Although messy, i think i'll stick to the heated wax from now on.Katie
