Fiddly to apply but almost instant cover-up when applied correctly. Instructions fall short in that there is no suggestion as to how to best remove patches before applying new ones. As 15 patches are required for complete treatment and presumably the patch HAS to come off - therefore advice would be helpful since careless removal will surely pull off the skin and thus spread the virus. THEREFORE, patch may be effective from a cosmetic point of view but there is a serious lack of advice on removal in instructions.
We're not sure what is in the instrictions, but from the compeed website...
How long should the patch stay on the skin? When should I change it?
If the patch stays on, there is no need to remove it and change it. On average, the patch will stay on for approximately 8 hours. However individual experiences may vary. When it starts to detach from the skin, it should be removed and replaced with a new patch. To remove it easily, gently pull the patchMonika Stenton, South Yorkshire
Just bought this for 1st time & have found instructions quite lacking regarding removal etc. Also quite fiddly to apply despite instructions suggestion it very easy, I wasted quite few trying to remove the backing from the patch. I am expecting the patch to be extrmely painful to remove too as it seems very sticky all over, not like a normal plaster. I think it may pull off the inflamed skin with it!
Have to wait & see!
